Methylcobalamin Vitamin B12, from Vitobest®, provides methylcobalamin, the active form that the body recognizes and uses immediately.
Most supplements on the market use cyanocobalamin, which needs to be converted in the liver to function. During this process, some of the vitamin is lost. With the active form, on the other hand, efficacy is guaranteed from the very beginning1,2.
Furthermore, some people have more difficulty converting vitamin B12 from food or supplements into its active form, methylcobalamin. In these cases, even though tests show normal levels, the vitamin does not function correctly in the body. Methylcobalamin solves this problem because it is already in the form that the body needs3,4.
