L-Arginine is an essential amino acid in stressful situations and a precursor to the formation of nitric oxide: it helps trigger the relaxation of blood vessels and intervenes in nitrogen transport, storage, and excretion processes1.
There are several scientific studies that explain the benefits of L-Arginine supplementation. Among them, it stands out that its intake helps improve wound healing by promoting cell replication and immune response1 and that, associated with a weight training program, its oral administration enhances the stimuli of exercise at the level of skeletal muscles, providing greater strength and muscle mass2.

Others argue that this substance stimulates the secretion of growth hormone from the pituitary gland; that it is one of the precursors of creatine; and that it is essential for the production of urea (necessary for the removal of toxic ammonia from the body)3.
In the formulation of L-Arginine 2000 Vitobest® uses L-Arginine from Kyowa®, which only uses amino acids isolated by fermentation.
