ALC (Acetyl L-Carnitine)

ALC, from Vitobest®, contains L-Carnitine in its ester form. L-Carnitine is an amino acid naturally produced by the body and can be found mainly in the brain, liver and kidneys. It is responsible for driving fatty acids to the mitochondria where it is used as fuel for energy production.

Studies to date assure that as part of this process of converting fats into fuel, it helps to combat cholesterol and triglycerides¹. Others carried out with animals also show that it contributes to improving cognitive functions².
