ATP Extreme (Powder)

What is ATP?

ATP (adenosine triphosphate) is a fundamental cellular component for energy production. This component is the primary energy source used in all muscle contractions. All sports performance depends on the continuous recycling of this substance during exercise.

Lactic acid.

Lactic acid is primarily produced in muscle cells during intense exercise. It forms when the body breaks down carbohydrates to create energy and oxygen levels are low, that is, in explosive and high-intensity exercises. Lactic acid is primarily produced when using glycogen as an energy source. It is a waste product and is subsequently recycled to produce energy, and it has the major drawback that high levels increase muscle pH (acidity). High acidosis as a result of intense physical exercise is considered an essential element in muscle fatigue.

ATP Extreme, of Vitobest®, contains in its advanced formula potent inhibitors of lactic acid (β-Alanine and L-Citrulline) that help delay the blocking effect of lactic acid on muscles. • Cluster Dextrin™ (highly branched cyclic dextrin): it is one of the most advanced carbohydrates that exist. • Alpha lipoic acid (R-ALA) (Alipure®): In addition to being an antioxidant itself, alpha lipoic acid has secondary antioxidant actions: it helps increase the levels of endogenous antioxidants such as glutathione and coenzyme Q10, and is capable of regenerating vitamin C and vitamin E.
• ActiGin®: mixture of plant extracts that improve the absorption and assimilation of all the nutrients in the formula.
• Coenzyme Q10 (Kanenka Q10™): Also known as ubiquinone, it is found within the membranes of the mitochondria.
