Iron Complex

Iron Complex, from Vitobest®, is a supplement designed to provide our body with the optimal daily amount of iron. In addition to Ferrochel™ iron chelate (organic), which significantly increases our ability to absorb this mineral, it contains vitamins and plant extracts that enhance its fixation.

Iron is an essential trace element for the life of practically all organisms: it is involved in oxygen transport, DNA replication, energy metabolism, and cellular respiration. Furthermore, it is one of the main components of hemoglobin, a protein that is part of erythrocytes (red blood cells) and is responsible for capturing oxygen and carbon dioxide.

Iron Complex is the ideal supplement to provide our body with the optimal daily amount of iron. Most products for supplementation with this mineral use inorganic raw materials (iron sulfates and oxides) from which less than 2% is absorbed. But Vitobest® uses Ferrochel™ iron chelate, an organic iron bound to amino acids that significantly increases its ability to be absorbed by the body^1,2. Our formula also contains vitamins (C, B9 and B12), necessary for the absorption of this micronutrient, and plant extracts (Medicago sativa and Beta vulgaris) that, in addition to providing iron and vitamins, help its absorption.

Vitobest® uses vegetable capsules (VegeCaps) suitable for vegan diets and free of titanium dioxide for this supplement.
