Dark Energy, from Vitobest®, is the wildest energy drink on the market. Designed for any type of athlete or people who require mental focus when performing a certain task, it does not contain gas, added sugars, or fats.
Our formula features a high content of caffeine, L-Taurine and L-Carnitine from Canipure™, ingredients whose properties help to stay alert in situations of fatigue and provide the extra dose of energy we need to make the most of our workouts or outdoor physical activities.
According to a scientific study that evaluated the physiological effects of energy drinks1, their consumption (mainly those made from caffeine and the amino acids L-Taurine and L-Carnitine), provide an increase in physical endurance, maintenance of alertness and mood. In addition, they help to improve the accuracy of visual processing tasks, decrease mental fatigue and reduce the deficit in cognitive performance and subjective fatigue during prolonged periods of cognitive demand.
In the specific case of caffeine, other research claims that its intake by trained subjects causes increases in plasma adrenaline and reduces the respiratory exchange ratio (RER) during exercise2, indicating that it is also efficient in fat burning.
