During training, our body consumes nutrients, minerals and energy in order to maintain physical activity. Replenishing all the substrates that our body consumes and requires to maintain intensity, strength and resistance is the key to optimal athletic performance sustained over time.
Vitobest®, with the aim of designing the best intra-workout supplement, has reformulated Intra Training, reinforcing it with all the necessary nutrients to maximize your potential throughout the training.
Intra Training it does not contain added carbohydrates or caffeine, so that the athlete can decide whether to include them based on their goals, type of training and duration.
Intra Training from Vitobest® includes:
- Clonapure® Creatine: Creatine in its active form, phosphocreatine, is much more effective and provides immediate energy. Creatine mainly acts through its effects on energy metabolism, regenerating cellular ATP1. In this way, it improves strength and power during endurance exercise, as well as increases lean mass2. Numerous studies in athletes confirm their ability to reduce body fat and improve anaerobic exercise performance, strength, and power output3. It also reduces mental fatigue in times of sleep deprivation or exercise to exhaustion4.
- L-Arginine: amino acid directly related to the increase of nitric oxide in blood (NO). NO is a key molecule that promotes vasodilation and, therefore, the arrival of nutrients, oxygen, and hormones to both the muscle and the central nervous system more easily, managing to reduce perceived effort, decrease muscle pain, and increase power5,6. NO could also have direct effects on the contractile function of the muscle7. In addition, they are intermediaries in the urea cycle, responsible for the excretion of ammonia, whose accumulation leads to muscle fatigue during exercise and reabsorption of bicarbonate, reducing acidity13,14. At a hormonal level, L-Arginine can promote anabolism by promoting the secretion of growth hormone8.
- L-Tyrosine: L-Tyrosine is a key amino acid in the production of catecholamines, dopamine and norepinephrine, and thyroid hormones, which can be depleted under physical and mental stress conditions. These hormones have a direct implication with the maintenance of cognitive focus, motivation and reduction of the perception of exhaustion. L-Tyrosine has the ability to replenish catecholamine levels in the brain and prevent their decrease, which can be depleted in intense and strenuous workouts9,10.
- Sodium citrate, potassium citrate, and calcium bisglycinate: Ions are essential for a wide variety of metabolic processes in our bodies. High-intensity or prolonged workouts can lead to their loss, causing temporary deficiencies that directly affect the proper functioning of our muscles and nervous system, negatively impacting our physical and mental state. Therefore, correctly replenishing these ions is key to reducing our sensation of fatigue and maintaining our performance.
- L-Glutamine: the most abundant amino acid in our body and conditionally essential, which means it is necessary during conditions of high physical stress, decreasing its concentration in these circumstances11. For this reason, a contribution of L-Glutamine during intense and prolonged physical activity maintains its concentrations in the blood in a stable manner, favoring its multiple functions in our body12,13:
1 > Acts as a nitrogen transporter at the muscular level, promoting recovery.
2 > Precursor of the antioxidant glutathione.
3 > Regulates acid/base metabolism, preventing states of acidosis.
4 > It participates as a substrate in gluconeogenesis, a process in which glucose is obtained as a source of energy.
5 > Stimulates the production of L-Citrulline and L-Glycine acting as a substrate, promoting vasodilation and hydration. - GFSaminos™: star component of the formula Intra Training, the GFSaminos™ They are essential amino acids. Basic components of proteins that the body is unable to produce, but needs to acquire through diet to ensure its proper functioning and development. Made from essential amino acids of plant origin by fermentation produced by Ajinomoto® (a Japanese brand distinguished by having the highest quality standards), our formula has a fast absorption pattern (about 23 minutes), effective (almost 99.9% in the first 100 cm of the small intestine) and unique (other protein sources require 3 to 5 hours to do so). Among its effects on sports performance we can find14,15,16:
1 > Improvement in athletes' performance by promoting increased muscle mass and strength.
2 > Accelerates the use of fats as a source of energy, preserving muscle glycogen.
3 > Reduces the synthesis of serotonin in the brain, which is the cause of the sensation of fatigue during exercise.
4 > Improves recovery and reduces muscle damage during exercise. - BCAA 2:1:1: BCAAs are three of the nine essential amino acids present in the body: L-Leucine, L-Valine, and L-Isoleucine. They differ from other essential amino acids in that they play the most important role in regulating muscle mass by stimulating protein synthesis.17. Vitobest® strengthens the presence of these amino acids, already present in the GFSaminos™, to provide a higher concentration of the three most abundant essential amino acids in muscle tissue and, therefore, most necessary during sports activity.
